A bilingual, community-led program empowering Latino communities to shape clean energy solutions.

El Verde es Vida is designed to engage Latino communities in creating a bilingual, community-led Clean Energy Adoption Plan. Our goal is to empower residents to shape a healthier, more sustainable future through hands-on participation, education, and leadership opportunities.

Community Engagement Activities

We will host virtual and in-person education workshops from January through May to make participation accessible for everyone. 

Through this program, participants will gain a deeper understanding of environmental and public health concerns related to energy use in homes.

  • Latinos represent only 8% of the renewable energy workforce but make up 18.5% of the population.
